1) Make sure that your remote and the TV are parallel to each other.

If using the remote to turn on Vizio TV and then turn it off seems too awkward for you, you can use this method.
1) Unplug the power cable from your TV.

2) Wait for 5-10 seconds and plug in the power cable back.
3) The TV will restart and you can start streaming the content you want.
